We had a 30 minute chat with Cassie after our 2 year old hit a big regression. He could no longer go to sleep unassisted anymore and was waking 2-3 times overtime, with it taking 1-1.5 hours to transfer back to the cot during the night. We were exhausted & bodies physically sore from holding him. Whole family affected included our almost 4 year old.
As someone who has always understood baby sleep quite well and was confident in what a good sleep environment was. I just needed to know what we needed tweaking. Some really valuable information was given specifically relevant to our little one & situation, with some things in there I hadn’t even considered. We also paid additional for a summary of our call and handouts with some settling technique information. We found Spaced Soothing the best option for us. Although intense for first 48 hours, we quickly starting seeing gradual results each night and went from a child who couldn’t go to sleep without being held for ages, to him going off to sleep without a peep on night 4 & basically asking to lie down. Back to 1 wake overnight at the moment but quickly resettling again. I’m sure we will be back to sleeping through before we know it! So happy & it’s given me hope I can get some energy back with more time to myself in the evenings and sleep overnight. So grateful & highly recommend reaching out to these guys if you are struggling with sleep. Worth the money and more than anything worth it for your mental wellbeing as a parent!
Cassie was really helpful in giving us some strategies to reduce our 9 month old overnight wakes. He has only been waking briefly once for a quick feed and she was able to walk us through how to wean this feed when we are ready. Last night he even slept 7-7 :). She also walked us through spaced soothing which our 9 month old now can now put himself to sleep with minimal tears instead of patting to sleep.
Eva made sure she took the time and had the info the deeply understand our situation and actually come up with a plan that suits our needs and preferences as a family, rather than a generic one size fits all approach so many other sleep consultants so- making changes more realistic and doable
I spoke with Eva as I was having trouble with my almost 4 month old, not able to self settle and up a lot in the night. It was so informative, I received so many tools from suggestions for ways to do things and try that hadn’t considered, multiple schedules for the day from now and for the months ahead, as well as 3 separate self settling techniques to work on. We reached out for a 30 min consult from Cassie for our 8 month old daughter. She’s our 3rd child and we felt like we had good sleep foundations (after Eva worked with us with our middle child two years prior). But we had wake ups occurring every 3-4 hours overnight and weren’t quite sure what to tweak to remedy this.
