I debated for weeks whether to get help with my then 5mo and her sleep - it was 100% the right call, and I should have done it sooner! Initially a good sleeper, things went downhill for us at 3 months with daytime naps all becoming contact naps and even then struggling to achieve a nap of longer than an hour. Then from 4 months with the regression and a couple of illnesses, nighttime sleep fell apart: some nights waking every hour and some nights refusing her cot all together and only contact sleeping. At 6 months, I was rocking to sleep every time and transfers into the cot were fraught! I initially had 1week support but extended it to 2 weeks - in that time my 6mo has transformed and can now reliably get herself off to sleep in her cot, is napping a lot better during the day and is mostly only waking to feed at night. That’s far beyond what I thought we’d achieve with my super stubborn LO, and even more impressive is that it happened alongside some big skills milestones which typically disrupt sleep (LO learned to pull herself to standing and crawl during the 2 weeks!). Taylor has been fantastic - super responsive, her guidance on the approach to take, tweaks to make etc. have undoubtedly shortened what would have been a long (and stressful!) process if I’d tried to do it alone. Her expert help really has made a huge difference. Having an evening back and some time to myself in the day has been a game changer, and I feel so much better knowing that my LO now has the skills to practice sleeping by herself before she goes off to nursery. I wouldn’t hesitate in using SLB and Taylor again if we encounter more sleep issues.
Worked with the lovely Eva on a one week support. Took my little from frequent night wakes to sleeping 11+ hours each night and nailing her day naps. Not only did we get wonderful results but Eva’s level of care for both bub and us was outstanding. Would (and have) recommend to others!!
I am SO glad we chose to work with Kyndra. She was incredibly supportive and with me every step of the way. Honestly, I needed the support myself more than anything and she soothed all my anxieties. Our little babe caught on quickly and loved the new independence he gained. I also gained more of my energy, time and mental space back. It's been about 6 weeks now since doing the formal sleep training and he is still sleeping so well. I would encourage anyone who is on the fence about sleep training to contact Kyndra and get support for both you and babe. She worked with me to customize a schedule and plan that felt right for our family and didn't push one way or another. Overall, it was a great experience and I know I will be reaching out to her in the future when our little babes sleep needs change.
I was initially hesitant, not sure if we needed to book in with a sleep consultant. Our 8 month old would give us a couple of goodish weeks but then would start having split nights, needing hours of rocking to resettle, false starts, separation anxiety and inconsistent daytime naps.
We worked with Cassie for the week, she helped establish a new routine for us, got us feeding more solids (focusing on protein) and supported us with a sleep training method that we were comfortable with. After just a week our baby was consistently sleeping through the night and we are now able to put her in her cot, say “goodnight” and leave the room for her to settle herself to sleep. Amazing.
Our bub is now an overall happier baby who is finally getting the correct amount of sleep. Thank you so much Cassie!
We received Taylor's support for our 18 month old and we moved from holding to sleep to independent sleep in just a few days using the Gradual withdrawal technique. Our little one used to be a great sleeper. However, at 16 months old his sleep became a nightmare to us taking 1,5hr to fall asleep with multiple night wakes and early morning rising leaving us exhausted and overwhelmed! After a few days having Taylor's support and guidance, he learnt to sleep independently with minimum crying during the process. We are forever grateful!
